Next Gen Review of 2020
Despite lockdown, churches across the area have continued to work together to support children and young people in all four boroughs of the Black Country and we’re excited to share a video which highlights just some of the ways that we’ve been able to continue to pursue the next generation together this year.
Dance Videos Resources for Churches
LBC Next Gen have created a series of dance videos to popular worship songs for churches and children’s ministries to use in their online kids sessions, family services and kids/holiday clubs.
Mental health and bereavement training delivered to Black Country kids and youth workers.
As concerns continue to rise about the impact of months of isolation on the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people, as well as issues of bereavement, LBC Next Gen has partnered with two organisations to deliver training to Black Country kids and youth workers to equip them post-lockdown.
A new Year Out Programme for the Black Country
A new Year Out Programme for young people aged 18-25 will be starting in September 2020 called EXPAND, run by a partnership of Dudley churches in association with the Love Dudley and Love Black Country Next Gen network.
