International leaders to contribute to digital Easter conference

A group of international Christian leaders are joining forces to lend their voices at a free digital conference, intended to explore the work of the Holy Spirit in times of distress.

The conference is the brainchild of Yinka Ovekan, whom many in our Love Walsall network will remember as visiting the area in 2017 to organise The Turning in Walsall.

Yinka is excited about the impact the multi-denominational heart of conference. “This will be an interesting conference because it represents a wide ecclesiology from Pentecostal to traditional denominational, from Charismatic to conservative voices.”

The speaking line-up currently consists of some impressive names:

  • Bill Johnson – Bethel Church, Redding, California.
  • Billy Kennedy – Churches Together in England
  • Jennifer Eivaz – Harvest Church, Turlock, California
  • Andy Glover – Fresh Streams
  • Betty King – Betty King International Ministries
  • Paul Harcourt – New Wine
  • Steve Thomas – Salt and Light Ministries
  • Gavin Calver – Evangelical Alliance
  • Andrew Owens – Destiny Network
  • Yinka Oyekan – The Gate
  • Lynne Green – Baptist Union
  • Michael Maiden – Church for the Nations, Phoenix, Arizona
  • Gareth and Rachael Owen – Barnabas Fellowship
  • Sue Winyard – The Gate
  • Alastair Mitchell-Baker – The Gate

The conference will be broadcast on Facebook Live at 11.30am and 7.30pm daily from the evening of Sunday 5th April to Saturday 11th April. Those wanting to join in and watch can do so by registering here.

If you are not a member of Facebook, you can watch the conference on youtube here.
