Martin Lewis to offer £1m in grants to small charities

Martin Lewis, is releasing £1,00,000 of his personal charity fund to provide grants of between £5000 to £20000 to small registered charities, or local arms of larger charities, who are experiencing financial pressure due to the Coronavirus.

Accoridng to Mr  Lewis’ website, “examples could include foodbanks, charities engaged in community aid, financial advice help and more.” The intention is to get the money distributed within the next month.
