Hark! A Nativity Story – ONLINE

Christmas isn’t cancelled!  This year whilst everything we love and expect might look different, Saltmine Theatre Company believes that people need the true joy and comfort of ‘Immanuel’ – Almighty God in human form on chaotic Earth – more than ever before.  We feel called to reimagine our show Hark! A Nativity Story for this new season.

You can watch our promotional video for the re-creation of Hark: HERE

Restrictions about live performance have given Saltmine invaluable opportunities to create with a cast double the size of our usual touring teams, and to employ a live band to perform a full repertoire of original music.  Of course, the message of the show- that ‘Everyone is Invited’ into God’s Story- is as relevant and as revolutionary as ever.

Option 1 – Church Package                Minimum donation: £650 – £850+

After a church leader has signed up on Saltmine’s website to gain access to Hark! A Nativity Story, Saltmine Trust will provide each church with a unique login username and password for the private webpage that will stream this Christmas show.   By accessing the private webpage, churches can either host socially distanced screenings of Hark! A Nativity Story in a church’s building using Wi-Fi, provide login details to their congregation to watch in their homes or do a mixture of the two.

This webpage will include added bonus ‘behind the scenes’ material.  Additional children’s and audience resources will also be available for download.  The show will be accessible to you and your church online throughout the Christmas season.

Option 2 – Community Package         Minimum donation: £250

If your church would like to share Hark! and its message with neighbours, colleagues and friends, why not consider donating £250 for a set of fifty gift cards* featuring the login details for access to this recording?   As you give each card out, you invite someone to engage with the Nativity story – surely that is the ultimate Christmas present!

*Saltmine asks for a donation of £5 per gift card – minimum of 50 cards.  Churches can make a second order if they run out of cards.

Churches can now sign up for the church and community packages on Saltmine’s Christmas webpage: HERE

When signing up for either package (or both) you will not be asked to give your donation immediately but will need to agree to terms and conditions about using this resource.

If you have any questions please email creative@saltmine.org or call 01384 454807.
