BCM Fulfil Youth Event – 9th July

The next online Fulfil youth event run by BCM is about three weeks away (9th July).

Our guests are Clare Williams and Faith Child.

Faith Child who is a MOBO and multi-award winning rapper and one of the UK’s top contemporary Christian artists. He will be bringing his eclectic mix of Hip hop, Electro and Pop to Fulfil with thought-provoking lyrics and powerful Biblical messages shared.

Clare Williams is an apologist and evangelist. She is also a former teacher and youth worker. Clare has studied Leadership, Theology and Culture, Diaspora & Ethnicity at postgraduate level. Clare has a passion for the gospel and apologetics and is keen to equip people to share their faith and to answer common questions. She therefore recently founded ‘Real Questions’ which seeks to engage with ‘big questions about the Christian faith’ including ‘issues concerning identity, race and religion which are increasingly prevalent in cultural debates’. Clare is an academic with the ability to connect on a popular level including with young people. We look forward to being equipped and inspired in the things of God through Clare and Faith Child at Fulfil.

That’s the aim of the event: to cause young people – whether Christian or non – to grow in their understanding of Jesus. We seek to support youth leaders in their outreach and discipleship of young people.

There will be several other elements including a challenge, a ‘lockdown sketch’ and contributions from young people & youth leaders. The event will last for around 70 minutes after which we would encourage youth groups to have a short chat to follow-up on the evening (questions will be provided).

The autumn event is 19th November to which we welcome Guvna B. We expect that this will be an in-person event back at our regular venue of Mount Zion Community Church in Aston (tbc).
