Chief Executive Officer
We are seeking an exceptional team leader with a passion to help churches in Sandwell to interact with and serve their local communities, and to collaborate with others to tackle poverty in all its forms.
About the role:
As CEO, you will be responsible for leading and developing our organisation, ensuring its strategic direction and financial sustainability. You will work closely with our Board of Trustees, staff, volunteers, Churches and partner organisations to achieve our mission of creating a better Sandwell.
Location: This role will be a hybrid role, based initially and primarily at the current Sandwell Churches Link Office in Sandwell with some scope to work from home, but also with a requirement to regularly travel to locations across Sandwell.
Hours: Full-time- 5 days per week (negotiable)
(Occasionally the role will require out-of-hours working at evenings and weekends, in which case the extra hours worked can be taken as TOIL)
Salary: £34k (pro rata) plus pension contribution
Contract: Permanent following six-month probationary period
Holiday: 25 days per year (rising to 28 days after 5 years’ service)
