Are you ready to be part of a vibrant and dynamic faith-based charity working with young people?

If the answer to this question is yes, then you could be who we are looking for!

Krunch is a Sandwell based charity supporting young people to access education, be a positive part of their local community and most importantly, to improve their emotional health and well-being and life chances.

We need an experienced Mentor to join our team and support the delivery of Krunch’s Personal Development and Life Skills programme. You will be experienced at working in one to one and small group settings with children and young people aged 9-19 years.  You will be familiar with the issues facing young people from a range of backgrounds such as: looked after children, those with criminal involvement, gang issues, exploitation and grooming, challenging behaviour and complex family issues.

  • This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
  • Min Level 3 Qualification in Mentoring/child development/youthwork is preferable as well as confident IT skills (however significant proven experience will be considered)
  • Starting salary based upon hourly rate of £10.53 – £11.24 (dependent upon experience)
  • Hours – 20 per week
