Safe Families Jelly Welly Walk

It’s back!! The Safe Families Jelly Welly Walk is returning for 2022!

This June we will be gathering across the country, filling our wellies with jelly and going for a squelchy, gloopy 1-mile walk* to raise money for Safe Families.

Join us for our local walk on Saturday June 11th 10.30am Lightwoods Park or sign up to hold your own Jelly Welly Walk!!

For many of the families that our volunteers come alongside, life is really hard. It’s not always obvious that people are struggling.

Imagine seeing someone walking along, and then discovering that their wellies are actually full of jelly… and their walk is so much harder because of it!

At Safe Families we’ll work with over 2,000 families like that this year. The mum who feels too anxious to leave the house with her children, or the single grandad who had suddenly become a full-time carer to his grandchildren and feels overwhelmed and isolated. We can only continue to support families like this with your help.

This year, June will be full of Jelly Welly Walks going on all over the UK. We’re encouraging you to pick a day that works for your family, church or community group, sign up and we’ll send you everything you need to get started.

As you squelch, gloop and slosh along every pound raised will go towards providing the support and connections a family need to help them with the challenges life throws at them.

So…on your marks! Get jelly! Go!
