Sharing Hope in Crisis Course

To All Church and Community Leaders, of SPECIAL Interest to Chaplains and those with community focused ministries.

For three years Crosspoint Church has had a presence in our local Scott Arms shopping centre, Great Barr. The HUB is based in a shop unit from where we offer friendship and support. There have been many relationships built with the local community during this time. We have recently begun to meet on Sundays at the local Methodist church, which is adjacent to the shopping centre.

We are planning to step up our presence in the shopping precinct, by forming a ‘Community Chaplains Team’. The team will be available to listen talk and pray with people. We know that many people coming out of lock-down are facing all manner of issues, and we want to be there for them.

“Sharing Hope in Crisis” is an excellent and inspiring course. We will look at; Trauma and Suffering, Communication to a diverse Community, Communication Process, Listening Skills and much more.

You are welcome to join us on Saturday the 17th July. THE COURSE IS FREE!
