The Big Conversation – Dudley 2020

We’re delighted to invite you to this innovative event hosted by Black Country Near Neighbours and Transforming Communities Together.

It will take place on Wednesday 18th March from 10am till 2pm (lunch will be provided) at the Brierley Hill Civic, Bank Street, Brierley Hill, DY5 3DH.

This event aims to bring local residents together from around the borough to discuss the local issues that have affected them in their areas and communities. We will consider how best to take these issues forward and resolve them collectively. There will be an opportunity for you to talk to local residents and take part in table discussions.

Context: As part of our Real People Honest Talk programme, we create opportunities for meaningful dialogue between communities. Before the Big Conversation four groups of Real People Honest Talk will have taken place in different areas of Dudley. Here local residents get together and surface issues in their areas that affect them.

This then leads to the Big Conversation where we endeavour to invite MPs, Councillors, Police Commissioners, and other sector employees who can take these issues forward and collectively think of ways of resolving them.
