Walsall March of Witness 2020
Every year the churches of Walsall mark Good Friday with a collective walk of witness in the town centre.
In 2020, Covid-19 stopped mass gatherings. Not to be deterred, the churches decided to walk, not in person, but online.
The Walk
Join us as we honour and celebrate the death and resurrection, not just of Jesus Christ this Easter, but with hope, for Walsall’s people, businesses, and centres.

The Word
Our speaker is the outgoing minister of St Paul’s. This will be Mark Kinder’s last march of witness, having been, for many years, a key driver in this ecumenical event, that has seen hundreds of Christians celebrating the Easter Message in the High Street.

The Worship
This year, we’re excited to include some specially arranged worship from Room 1 Project’s Ben Dean, to help us reflect on the power of Jesus’ sacrifice for us all on Good Friday.

Local churches can provide essential pastoral support for schools through chaplaincy partnerships and this has never been more essential than it is now.
