Emmanuel School provides Christian Education for children from Nursery through until their GCSEs. We aim to provide a broad and balanced Bible-based curriculum for children in every age group.
Emmanuel School is looking to make a temporary appointment from February 2021 until May 2021 (for half terms 4 and 5). We see our work as a calling and the salary involves a level of sacrifice.
We would like to appoint a full time, experienced teacher to work in our infant class. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, teaching and assessing the Year 1/2 curriculum.
Although this position is initially on a temporary basis for two half terms, it is possible that the successful candidate may be considered for a permanent teaching appointment in the primary department from September 2021.
For an application form or to arrange an informal visit, please contact Mrs Ann Kendrick on 01922 635810 or by E-mail at ann.kendrick@emmanuel-walsall.co.uk
The closing date for applications is Friday 11th December 2020.
Interviews are likely to take place towards the middle of December 2020.
Emmanuel School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
• The successful applicant will be required to provide a DBS disclosure at the appropriate level.
• Emmanuel School will seek references for short-listed candidates and may approach previous employers for information to verify particular experience and qualifications before the interview.
• If you are currently working with children, in a paid or voluntary capacity, your employer will be asked about disciplinary offences relating to children, including any for which the penalty time is expired and whether you have been subject to any child protection concerns and if so, the outcome of any enquiry or disciplinary procedure. If you are not currently working with children but have done so in the past, your previous employer will be asked about those issues.
• Providing false information is an offence and could result in the application being rejected or summary dismissal if you have been selected and possible referral to the police.
