Amy Orr-Ewing and Guvna B at BCM Youth Event

Amy Orr-Ewing will be joining us at Fulfil (a Christian youth event run by Birmingham City Mission) on 19th November at Mount Zion Community Church. (NB. you are new to Fulfil see: ‘What’s Fulfil all about? https://youtu.be/rSPbPjyfvYQ ).

Amy is an esteemed international author, speaker and theologian who is passionate about presenting and defending the Christian faith in a culturally relevant way. Amy isn’t only an academic; she can connect with the ordinary person and speak on a popular level. Amy is also very adept at speaking to young people and has regularly spoken at youth gatherings such as Soul Survivor over the years. Amy authored the bestselling, ‘Why Trust The Bible?’ and she has recently produced, ‘Where is God in All the Suffering?.’ We look forward to hearing from Amy at Fulfil.

We are also joined by Guvna B. You may know that Guvna B is a double MOBO award winning Grime/rap artist from London. He is also an author and broadcaster. He has released 10 albums, 2 books and has produced segments for the BBC and a football pundit for Sky Sports News’. He also speaks into situations that affect young people from underprivileged communities. Guvna is well known to Fulfil having come two occasions in the past. Guvna will soon be the only artist to visit Fulfil three times! (not his most groundbreaking credential – granted!).

We are planning for the event to be back at our regular venue of Mount Zion Community Church in Aston, and we are making plans to ensure that the event will be conducted in a careful and safe way. However, we will let you know promptly if a) we are required to follow some restrictions to enable a gathered event to still take place, and if, b) a gathered event can’t take place (both of which would be in line with any future government guidance).

Our spring date is 11th March and the date of the summer event will be on 8th July.

Why not plan to bring your young people to these events?!
