Volunteer Youth Worker Wanted
Hours: 5 volunteering hours per week, 3 of which on a Friday Evening

Role: Volunteer Youth Worker
Do you have a passion to see the next generation continue to grow and develop? If so, Forge Youth, which is part of Church in the Community Lakeside, need your help. We are looking for a volunteer Youth Worker, preferably with some previous experience in this role. As we are a Christian organisation, we would expect you to adhere to and promote Christian values.
Our Youth Group meet once a week, in a warm, friendly, and safe environment. The Group also take part in various activities and visits, subject to the relevant consent being given. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with young people and building trusting relationships, assisting with planning of activities, organising games, keeping records, etc.
This position is subject to safer recruitment checks including references and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
