JOB – Church & Tenant Empowerment Worker: Black Country Areas
We are looking for someone to join the Wolverhampton Based HIA Black Country Areas team for 8 hours a week as an Empowerment Worker.
Initially we envisage this role to be more church focused, involving training volunteers and helping them prepare houses to open when needed. You will be working with our partner churches – each house is partnered with a local church – to train, equip, encourage for their role in mentoring, befriending and giving practical support to tenants.
The EW will initially be responsible for 2, houses, tenants, churches
As an Empowerment Worker you will also be supporting our tenants who have been homeless. Tenants may be singles or families with support needs and you would empower them towards a fulfilled life.
