“Why care for Israel?”
On Saturday 22nd February 2025 10 – 3pm @Bilston Neighbourhood Church, WV14 0LT, is a Teaching Conference on “Why care for Israel?”
Light refreshments and lunch will be included.
This will be delivered by Derek Frank, author of ‘Escaping the Great Deception’ (available on amazon). Sessions are designed to help the church recognise God’s on-going purposes for Israel and what this means for us as believers in Jesus.
With everything that is happening in the world, the church and in Israel, the Lord’s people are in need of a prophetic voice and revelation from God. There are many views and perspectives that can shape our thinking and attitude toward Israel and the Jewish community. These include perspectives from a political/geo political stand point, a military stand point, an economical standpoint and a historical stand-point. BUT….
1. What is God’s perspective from a Biblical stand-point?
2. What does the Biblical text communicate about the heart of God for Israel?
3. How does this inform our response toward Israel and the Jewish community, while breaking down strong-holds of ‘replacement theology’ that exist within the church?
4. What is ‘replacement theology’ and is this Biblical?
5. Where does ‘replacement theology’ derive from?
