Focus For Men
After a lay-off, Focus For Men is being relaunched on Thursday 17th July. It is a men's event based in Dudley for Black Country churches. We encourage Christian men to invite along unbelieving friends/colleagues/relatives to hear the good news and enjoy friendship with other men over a two course meal at a neutral venue.
Given recent reports of a growth in spiritual interest among young men, this event seeks to tap into that. We invite speakers from all walks of life to share their story – their journey, their work and how God has saved and used them since. There is scope for great conversations and connections over fine food and company.
The speaker for this event, Darren Dowse, has a powerful testimony, quite a story! Sure to be an engaging listen.
The event starts at 7pm and is £22.50 a ticket. The cost covers the two course meal, the venue and speaker.
We encourage local churches to make this event known to their congregations.
The event will be held several times a year at The Lodge, Wellington Road, Dudley.
Details of the next event (set for late November/December) will be posted before long.
