Lifeline Volunteer Listeners

Life in Community CIC is a newly established Community Interest Company operating in Tipton, which aims to be an impactful social enterprise by addressing issues around health, poverty, worklessness, apathy, learning, and skills deficiencies. Our hope is as an organisation is to create transformational change in the lives of local people.

One of the anchor services that we will be launching in the coming weeks is a listening service called Lifeline Listening. This programme aims to support individuals with low-level mental health issues including, low mood, anxiety, and depression for individuals living in the Tipton area, especially those impacted by Covid-19.

We are looking for volunteers aged 18+ to join our team. All volunteers will be trained, to provide effective 1:1 listening sessions, either using technology or physical distancing, i.e. walk and talk (in line with government guidelines) to offer support to Tipton residents.
