Open Day for UCB’s Media Study Placement Course (full-time)

Time: approx. 9:30; TBC
Location: UCB Operations Centre, 94 Westport Rd, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent ST6 4JF and UCB Broadcast Centre, Hanchurch Ln, Hanchurch, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 8RY
(We will travel between sites during that day, but transport for this is provided)
Food and hot drinks provided
Features of the day: a tour of the broadcasting and communications floor (respectively); a chance to speak with presenters and our current students about the work placement, all aspects of course materials and events throughout the year; a tour of facilities and where you will stay; having delicious home-cooked lunch and a challenge opportunity related to radio / media to enjoy in the afternoon.
We look forward to meeting anyone who feels called into Christian media with missional focus and you are very welcome even if you are not sure at all but feeling a little curious. People who come to UCB usually remark that there’s something different about our working environment – that difference is the presence of God. It might be the ideal place for you to develop your professional skills as a Christian in a world filled with media.
