We’re excited to announce a two-day “Church Leaders Together Gathering” planned for November 2023.
Since the start of the network, the theme of being Together has been a focal point for Love Black Country, however, since 2020 this has become more focused and has been expressed in the many events and gatherings organised over the past 3-years.
These ‘Moments’ have been fuelled by the increasing desire for Christians and Churches to connect, and has been expressed by Church Leaders who wish to build relational networks.
There is a longing to see Churches grow and thrive and serve their communities, and Church Leaders play a prominent and important role in how The Church, the Body of Christ, is represented and reflected in all our local communities.
We also recognise that in the Black Country, we are geographically connected, and through Christ we have a spiritual connection that Jesus spoke of as being “as one, even as We are One”, and a Kingdom connection as Christ as Head of the Church.
Our two days together as Church Leaders is to explore what this looks like for us as individuals, our congregations and as Kingdom, as we seek to move forward together.
We recognise that there is a need to grow from a series of ‘Moments’ into a ‘Movement’ where together we can have a greater impact for the Kingdom.
There will be the opportunity for ministry, conversation, prayer and worship as we seek Gods heart, and to look forward with excitement as to what God wants to do across the Black Country, and we hope that you will join us on this journey.
This is a two-day gathering with no overnight stay, with a local venue within easy travelling distance from anywhere in the Black Country. The favourable start and finish times also give opportunity for leaders to do any admin/calls etc before or after the sessions.
In order to get the most out of the event and for you to participate fully in the conversations, then we would encourage you to sign up and commit to both days. Attending only one day or for part of a day will make it personally disjointed and will limit the overall benefit for the wider gathering.
