Job Vacancy – Sandwell’s Youth Matters Oldbury Engagement Officer
(part time)
Are you ready to be part of a vibrant and dynamic Christian faith-based charity working with young people?
If the answer to this question is yes, then you could be who we are looking for!
We are pleased to announce that we have secured, in partnership with the Albion Foundation, Complete Kidz, YMCA Black Country and the Premier League, significant funding to manage, deliver and coordinate the provision of a joined-up, high-quality, open access youth work service that has the wants and needs of young people at its core.
The Albion Foundation (TAF) will be the strategic lead on Sandwell’s Youth Matters, which will have an active presence in Sandwell’s six towns. The Albion Foundation (registered Charity 1081948) is an established and successful provider of sport, education and disability programmes.
An element of detached youth work will run through the project, engaging with young people on their own terms. Sandwell’s Youth Matters will operate at evenings, weekends and during school holidays for a minimum of 50 weeks per year. Therefore, we are recruiting creative, ambitious, positive leaders who genuinely have the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and most importantly young people; striving to ‘Inspire to Achieve’.
