YMCA Founders Day Celebration Event
This month is a celebration of YMCA’s 180th birthday. All over the world, the YMCA are commemorating the vision and leadership of Sir George Williams, a man with a God-given vision to see the lives of young people transformed by the love of God. His legacy inspires us to continue creating opportunities for young people to reach their full potential and truly belong, contribute and thrive in the world today.
To mark this special milestone, YMCA Black Country Group are hosting a special Celebration Day on Saturday 22nd June, at YMCA Carters Green, to celebrate the last 180 years of YMCA and look to the future. We’d love you and your congregation to join us.
The event is completely free and perfect for the whole family. Enjoy games, live music, delicious food, and exciting activities for of all ages including the unveiling of our newly refurbished YMCA Chapel. Let’s celebrate 180 years of community spirit together!
