Activity

Love Dudley meet in various capacities each month. We’d love for you to connect with any of them. Please get in touch to find out more information. We’d love to help you work with others to see the borough of Dudley transformed.

Rooftop Prayer

In 2019 we reshaped our monthly prayer breakfast and took to the roof of Provision House, the iconic Art Deco building opposite Top Church that used to house Blunts, to pray for our borough. This engaged a whole new group of people who came out to stand together in prayer for our ‘city’. In 2020 our plans were put on hold due to Covid restrictions. Watch this space for updates as 2021 progresses. Please email adrian@lovedudley.org.uk for more information.

NB: Access to the roof is by stairs only. If the weather is bad, the prayer meeting will be held inside Provision House instead.

Dudley Leaders Group

The Dudley Leaders group is made up of church and ministry leaders from across the Dudley borough. They meet on the second Tuesday of every month for breakfast at various locations across the borough. The primary purpose of the group is to build relationships and pray for their individual roles in the borough. The group acts as:

  • A forum to ‘be’ together rather than ‘do’ things.
  • A relational environment aimed at building relationships.
  • An opportunity to find out what’s going on across the borough.
  • A forum to engender collective working and thinking.

Please contact Adrian Lowe – adrian@lovedudley.org.uk – for more information about how you can get involved.

Next Gen Borough Hub – Dudley

Children’s Workers

Dudley Kids have a Hub that have been meeting for the last 6 years.  It is a mixture of paid workers and volunteers and the group meets to encourage and support each other every few months.  Traditionally they have met in Costa at Merry Hill but they also meet in their local churches which gives a greater space for deeper discussions and prayer.  Over the years many in the group have supported each other with holiday clubs, resources and special events.  Attendance varies each time they meet but anyone is welcome to join them!

Please email info@loveblackcountry.org.uk for more information.

Revive Holiday Clubs

Revive is a project that partners with the Love Dudley network provide holiday clubs across central Dudley. Revive enables churches to work together to combat holiday hunger in the school holidays by providing nutritious hot meals in the most deprived areas of Dudley.

Our heart is not only to meet the issues of hunger and a lack of food in the holidays but also meet the needs of the same children who are deprived of experiences and activities which cause them to fall behind in their development.

Can I volunteer to help?

Absolutely!  Volunteering is a great way to work together with Christians from across the borough to serve the needs of local children. We already have volunteers signed up from numerous churches across the Dudley borough and we always welcome more. If you'd like to volunteer your help, please visit the link below.
