Volunteers Needed for Homeless Shelter
Wolverhampton Church Shelter will be re-opening soon in a new location opposite the Molineux co-locating with the Good Shepherd Ministry. The creation of this 24/7 ‘Hub’ for the homeless in the city means there is a greater need for volunteers.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to help serve the poor in the city. Training is provided and the priority is to recruit people for the overnight teams who can be ‘dads, mums, brothers and sisters’ serving as part of a team of 6 or 7 people looking after the Shelter’s guests.
Anyone who is over 18 years old, is a good listener, and can sacrifice a minimum of one night a month qualifies. This is rewarding work and you will be joining a ‘family team’ of volunteers.
