1000+ children to receive food parcels from local churches this Easter

Churches in Dudley are working together to combat poverty and deliver food, fun and an Easter message to over 1000 children across the borough.

The Revive Project is an initiative developed by churches and organisations who connect through the Love Dudley network, with a vision to work together to combat holiday hunger in the school holidays by providing nutritious hot meals in the most deprived areas of Dudley.

Alongside meeting the issues of hunger and a lack of food in schools holidays, the heart of the Revive Project is also to meet the needs of the same children who are deprived of experiences and activities which cause them to fall behind in their development.

During the school holidays, the Revive Project aims to support families/children who have been adversely affected by Covid-19. Referrals are received from local schools and families can sign up to receive their pack of food, menus and activities, which is delivered at the start of the school holidays.
