REF: NCG47 – Nursery Apprentice
37.5 Hours per week | £4.15 per hour (National Apprentice Wage) | Fixed Term for 12 months| Carters Green Nursery, West Bromwich
We are looking for a Nursery Apprentice at our Carters Green Day Nursery, West Bromwich. The Nursery has offers childcare places for up to 110 children, providing a warm and welcoming environment where families can feel valued and obtain positive help and support.
Responsibilities for the role of a Nursery Apprentice include but aren’t limited to:
• Working towards a level 2 childcare qualification
• Learning responsibility for providing full access to an effective programme of activities for children identified as requiring additional support.
• To support in the care of sick children and those suffering minor injury.
• To work in partnership with other professionals involved with the children and their families, i.e. health visitors, Inclusion support, speech therapists.
You will be motivated and passionate about working with children and their families, and strive to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment for children to grow and develop.
A training provider is not a necessity, as this can be out sourced for the successful applicant. The organisation is also happy to facilitate training with any existing training providers.
