A Missing Generation

Our churches are facing a generational crisis.

Maybe this has been coming for many years, but we believe that our God remains in charge, and can turn what seem to be huge challenges into real opportunities.

Whilst some may have young people regularly connecting to their youth work each week, for most churches in this area, that is simply not the case.

It is only together that we can breakthrough these generational challenges. For the city walls to be re-built, it takes us all to do our part. We cannot do that alone.

Do you work with young people in your local church?

Are you a youth leader, a volunteer or simply someone with a heart to see our churches reaching out to young people? It is your heart that matters too, not your date of birth!

On Monday 10th October, you are invited to gather with others like you, people of all ages and backgrounds from across the Black Country, to pray, to celebrate, dream and imagine together for breakthrough into the next generation.

During the evening, you will have opportunity to share about the current situation with youth work in your church (if you wish to) and be part of a time of reflection and prayer about how we can work together to plan for change in the future.

Date: Monday 10th October
Time: 8pm
Location: Love Black Country HQ
Alpha House, Tipton Street, Sedgley, DY3 1HE.

Spread the word!

Please share this post with anyone you know who works with young people in church, whether as a volunteer or a paid worker.

Separately, the situation is a crisis.

Together, we can see change.

Together, we can all win, and re-build the city walls. Only ONE CHURCH can respond to what is ahead of us.
