Christian organisation creates Financial Help Hub for Coronavirus pandemic
Just Finance Black Country, which is a part of the Church Urban Fund, have developed a document to help those in financial need as a result of the Coronavirus crisis.
An extremely practical document, it covers areas such as:
- Benefits entitlement for the newly unemployed
- Explanation of furlough schemes
- Budgeting tools
- Links to debt support
- Dealing with financial stress
The Just Finance Foundation have also created a Coronavirus Finance Help Hub full of signposts for individuals or organisations who work with people in financial difficulty.
We recommend that any church or organisation with a footprint in their community to download and read the document. The economic impact of this pandemic is only just beginning to emerge and we will all need to be fully equipped to support people in our communities who are struggling financially in the coming months as a result of Coronavirus.
