Christian organisations share stories of hope

A group of local and national organisations are coming together on social media to share stories of hope and tips for helping the community. #peopleofhope is a growing grassroots movement of individuals, churches, dioceses and charities using #peopleofhope to share stories of supporting people and communities.

12 organisations are currently involved, all taking turns to produce a daily top tip to help people to survive the lock down as well as sharing their own stories of hope during the Coronavirus pandemic, by using #peopleofhope on social media.

The initiative is being headed up by Transforming Communities Together (TCT) in partnership with Diocese of Lichfield, CUF Together Network and Wellsprings Together.

Dioceses and groups such as Places of Welcome have joined since we launched. The main thing is to share good news and tips on your normal social media and then put #peopleofhope at the end.”

The evening saw hundreds of Christians from churches all over the Black Country to celebrate the things that God is doing in our region and imagine what else He may have planned.
