Bethel Christian Fellowship, West Bromwich are looking for a person that God is calling to work with young people (children and teenagers) and families.
Our heart for young people and families is to help them discover Jesus and bring those who are Christians to greater maturity in Christ.
You will report to the Senior Pastor and leadership team with a view to developing creative ways to reach children and families in the wider community and encourage them to engage more fully with the church.
You would lead our “Bethel’s Bizzy Beez” Parent and Toddlers group, planning the activities, and working with a small team of volunteers. Your ideal qualities would be to be self-motivated, naturally proactive and to have excellent planning and organisational skills.
You would also look to make contact with local schools and relevant community organisations and seek opportunities to link up with like-minded groups including Woody’s After-School Club that operate from our premises.
The role would suit either an experienced family and children’s worker looking to lead the next generation into what God has in store for them, or someone wishing to gain experience whilst developing their own skills and giftings.
Hours of work and salary are negotiable but please be advised that this would be a part-time position.
It is the expectation that the post-holder will make Bethel Christian Fellowship their home church.
For further details, or to send cover letter/CV, please e-mail bcfgadslane@gmail.com. for the attention of the Administrator.
Due to the nature of this role, we believe that this post is subject to an occupational requirement that the holder be a practicing Christian under Part 1 of schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
