Job Vacancy: Senior Debt Advisor/Deputy Centre Manager
The Life Centre Debt Advice team in Stourbridge offer a free and confidential Money Management and Debt Advice service in a client-focused rather than a target-driven environment. We are looking to employ someone who has a heart to help those struggling with their finances.
• Hours: 16 hours/week
• Salary: rising to £25,000 FTE
• Benefits: Workplace pension & flexible working hours
• Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays pro rata

In this new position, you will join as a key member of the team and your role will be to provide debt advice to clients and supervise volunteers. When required, you will deputise for the Centre Manager.
Ideally you will have worked in a client support role and have a year’s case work experience in debt advice or similar field. We are looking for an applicant who is trained or qualified in debt advice, however training will be provided for a strong candidate with relevant experience.
If you are a good listener, empathetic and a non-judgemental people-person who is methodical and competent with computers, then you are the sort of person we are looking for.
