Job Vacancy: Senior Support Worker
We are Recruiting: Senior Support Worker
Living Springs are recruiting a part-time Senior Support Worker. The post holder will be accountable to the Chief Officer and work as part of our small team delivering our new supported housing service to vulnerable families. The successful candidate will be an experienced practitioner in mentoring and supporting young people and adults with complex needs and will be expected to provide a professional high-quality service which meets our organisation’s ethos, vision and values.
The successful candidate will:
* Show a passion and commitment to seeing people flourish and reaching their potential
* Have a clear understanding of Christian values and be able to articulate how these can positively impact resident’s lives
* Be an excellent communicator, verbally and in writing
* Have experience and understanding of working with individuals and families with a variety of complex needs and issues (minimum 2 years)
* Have relevant qualifications and training (minimum: Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Social Work or equivalent)
* Work well as a team and independently, with experience of supervising others
* Have an understanding of safeguarding children and adults and other key policies
* Have a clean driving licence and use of a car insured for business use
Salary £25,000 full-time
