Ukraine Appeal
Hi Everyone
As we know the situation in Ukraine is getting worse and the people and region out there need our support in prayer, and any other way we can help. Through Pastor Craig Bennett of Castlegate Church in Dudley, we have made contact with a chaplain working in refugee camps in Ukraine. They are in need of help and we want to respond to their needs and support them. As a response to the need, John Milne and I are going to take a 4×4 and box trailer of supplies out to them. We are planning to leave on Thursday 7th April.
Would you and your church partner with us and help us gather the necessary supplies they need to help?
We need to gather some urgent supplies:
- Individual first aid kit with turnstile
- Hygiene pads
- Wipes
- Nappies of different sizes for children
- Nappies for adults
- Black socks
- Dry deodorants
- Vitamins
- Good flashlights
- Chargers for mobile phones
- Food: inc dry rations, canned food, everything that can be stored for a long time
- Medicine: antipyretics, simple and elastic bandages, analgesics
- Clothes for children and women
- Military ankle boots
- Military uniform
Could you please help us in this effort and bring all your collections to St Paul’s Church, Five Ways, Gornal so we can sort and process the donations. Please arrange other times with myself if you can’t bring on at one of the following times.
Monday 4th April 9am – 2pm
Tuesday 5th April 9am – 2pm
Wednesday 6th April 9am – 2pm
