Praying for the Next Generation

Spring promises to be an exciting and jam-packed season when it to comes to praying for the Next Generation and there are plenty of ways you can get involved.

As a network, we believe passionately that God has called us to throw our arms around the Next Generation and one of the ways we intend do that in the next couple of months is through prayer.

We’re excited to announce that we will be hosting 3 different moments connected to the Next Generation during April and May for 3 different groups of people.

1. Pray for the Next Generation

On Monday 24th April, we are inviting adults to gather together to pray for the Next Generation in the Black Country and in particular, pray for an event taking place later that week where we are gathering young people to pray together for their generation.

All are welcome to join and pray on this night.

When: Monday 24th April
Time: 8pm
Place: Alpha House, Tipton Street, Sedgley, DY3 1HE

2. 24-7 Youth Prayer Gathering

24-7 Prayer Youth and The Message Trust are partnering with Love Black Country Next Gen to host a Youth Prayer Gathering for the Black Country. Taking place on Friday 28th April, 7:30pm at LifeCentral Church, Halesowen, the gathering will be the first of several taking place this year to enable Christian young people to join together to pray with other Christian youth from across the Black Country.

The prayer gathering is open to any Christian young people, as well as youth workers, from across the region to join together to pray for their friends, families, schools, colleges, universities, work places and communities. With powerful live worship lead by Ramp Worship, amazing corporate prayer and powerful inspiration from 24-7 Prayer Youth’s Josh Green, it’s a night not to be missed. Entrance is by free ticket only which can be booked here.

3. Next Gen Workers Gathering

As part of our investment into the Next Generation, we continue to network and facilitate relational unity between kids and youth workers across the region. On Monday 22nd May, we are hosting a gathering for those involved with leading and working with children and young people in any capacity. We will pray, worship and share together, encouraging each other in the roles we play. If this is something you do, we would love to see you there.

When: Monday 22nd May
Time: 8pm
Place: Legacy Church, Walsall, WS1 3QS.
