Hundreds of teenagers gather to pray for their generation.

Over 100 young people from across the Dudley borough gathered on Saturday 9th November to pray for their generation. The one day youth conference, organised by One Heart Sound, Love Dudley’s youth network, was aimed at teaching and inspiring young people to be the LIGHT OF THE WORLD by being Jesus in their schools and colleges.

The event included guest speakers from across the borough and times of fantastic worship throughout the event, along with lots of fun and games (and McDonalds for lunch)!

Deb Chamberlain, Love Black Country’s Next Gen Champion, was encouraged by the event.

“The whole conference was a great way to equip this generation to reach their generation. It was so heartening to see so many young people passionate about reaching their friends for Jesus.”

The One Heart Sound conference was organised following the region-wide Midlands Youth Conference hosted by The Message Trust in September 2019, which saw young people from all over the Midlands gathering on behalf of their generation. It was so successful that another Midlands Youth Conference is already in the diary for September 19th 2020.

“We’re so excited about how God is speaking to this generation across our region and we’re encouraging all youth groups from across the Black Country to join us next year on September 19th to continue on this journey.”
